Dear Neighbors and Friends,
A group of us have met regularly in recent years with the purpose of gathering stories and pictures from Edgewood’s past to create a collection in book form. We want to preserve something from the past so future generations will know what life was like in Edgewood and understand what the community meant to us as we grew up here or spent our adult lives here. Edgewood means a great deal to many of us and that feeling for the community and the people should be captured and remembered.
We would greatly appreciate stories, pictures or other things you could share with us. There are several ways to do this. You can send your stories and pictures to us or contact us to make other arrangements. For example, we can video tape anyone who prefers sharing stories this way. We have a list of possible topics to choose from or you can talk about other things; it is your choice. Also, we can photo copy your pictures for our use, so you keep the original pictures. Let us know if there is something you would like to share and we will make arrangements that are convenient for you.
Please send stories and pictures to the following address. Include your name, address and telephone number so we know who sent the items. Call us if you have questions or want to make alternate arrangements for getting things to us.
2421 106th Ave. Ct. E, Edgewood, WA 98372
If you know others who have Edgewood history to share, please tell them about our work and/or give us their names and contact information so we can get in touch with them.
Thank you for your help.
